Today’s do:

I am wearing my hair in a sloppy ponytail where I’ve secured the back of the head with a hair tie and covered it with a braid of my own hair. Simple and gorgeous!

A man from Ups made me awfully happy today by delivered my highly desired 13-inch Apple MacBook Pro with 2,7 GHz plus a mini display port to an DVI adapter. I absolutely love technology and I love products from Apple! I have not been disappointed with one single item that I’ve purchased from them. Actually, I’ve been devoted to them since the first time that I bought my very first iPod. And if there have been any problems or minor obscurities at all they’ve been providing top quality service and first-class support.

So, my new Apple MacBook Pro will represent a new productive start for both my studies and new upcoming work challenges! This is great!

- And so can you! Set up your own personal goals to aim at, a clear plan of how to get there in order to succeed and believe in yourself. But above all, learn how to distinguish between the ultimate target and individual development. A goal is set up to motivate, not to discourage and therefore it is important to recognize all improvement of personal progress and always maintain a positive sphere of energy.

A little tip for all of you girls that want to grow your hair long is to not hold off on haircuts – get frequent trims. It will keep split ends from making your hair break off, which will only leave you feeling like your hair doesn’t grow at all.

New products for me to try on

You haven’t missed Energy Armor’s new SUPERBAND?

I had, until now. I read more about it on the web page.  Apparently the SUPERBAND is a brand new product line which is newly engineered, with 5 times more negative ions, an Energy Armor Shield Logo, perfectly waterproof and medical grade silicone. In addition, it should more durable than the previous version of EA with a non-toxic base as well as a lifetime warranty. I better get myself one of these superbands. Now comes the hardest part – what color to choose?

I am very fond of the purple (to the right, front row) and black with yellow text (to the left, front row). But also the yellow with black text, all the white ones, silver, black (green, silver or white text), red…

Personally, I’ve been looking at the new cell phone covers for iPhone 3G. They are made of the same extremely durable medical grade silicone that are used in the wristbands above.  The iPhone cover will provide a layer of protection against bumps and scratches.

Glow and black are my favorite colors!

Borås – the textile city

The town where I originate from, Borås has in my opinion a lot of undeserved and unjustified bad reputation among people. It is mostly known for its many mail order companies and textile industries, which can be seen as the successor of the districts former travelling trading men, “knallar”. That is why Borås have come to get the nickname of “the textile city”.

For me, Borås is a town with 103 398 citizens, a fascination entrepreneur mood with leading companies such as Gina Tricot, Brämhults Juice, Comfort Hotel, Ellos, Haléns, Ericsson, H&M, Handelsbanken, NetOnNet, SEB, Volvo Bussar and Swedbank Sjuhärad. About 682 new companies started during 2010 and totally there exist 11 445 companies in Borås. Impressive! Moreover, each summer Borås arrange a number of free outdoor concerts which are held on the town square on Thursday evenings. Borås have the most successful football team – IF Elfsborg, which were actually the Swedish champions in 2006. They usually play at Borås Arena which has a capacity of maintaining 16 000 supporters. Other things to see are Almenäs, Borås Djurpark, Stadsparksbadet and all the museums. Something that I am in particular very happy for is that Borås are known for its grand textile manufacturing and fashion industry. Borås have a university college where the textile university college belongs to. FashionDAYS are arranged twice a year and only in Borås. Åhaga also arrange a lot of other events such as concerts and various exhibitions. Additionally, Borås supply a range of parks and open-air activities area in its disposition. Shopping can me bade both in centrum and at the mall called “Knalleland”. Don’t forget that we have one of the absolutely best sushi restaurants in Sweden – Eest restaurant (they won Sushi SM in 2006), but also many and cozy cafés such as Viskan. Recently, my mother’s old best friend, Christer Björkman became this year’s ambassador for Borås. Congratulations! Borås have grown so much these past years and I am happy to have been able to follow the development and I dearly hope for that it will continue as I am not living there anymore.

For all those still complaining that Borås are dull: make a change, or, keep yourself updated of what’s happening. There is a lot going on, all the time and I know that for a fact and from firsthand experience.

So, now there is only one thing left for me to say…

…that I am proud to come from Borås municipality!

I am deciding what sun block I will bring with me to Mallorca. Important decisions since I do not wish to get sunburned, nor hurt my skin in any other way – like aging. I think will start off with a SPF 20 for my face, SPF 15 for my body and then after some days use my Hawaiian Tropic spray oil SPF 8. A personal favorite is Hawaiian Tropic that I love the scent of and that the body gets a nice bronze touch.

Do not forget to use sun block – it is important to use when being exposed through the radiant sun!
